Pittsfield Insulation holds a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) registration, issued by the Massachusetts Office of Consumer Affairs and Business Regulation. This registration is required for all contractors performing insulation and home improvement work on residential properties in the state. It means we carry the required insurance, have passed background checks, and are accountable to a state-run dispute resolution program.
All spray foam work is performed by technicians trained in accordance with Spray Polyurethane Foam Alliance (SPFA) standards, covering equipment operation, proper application temperatures, and safety protocols. We follow Massachusetts building code requirements for insulation and pull permits when required by the City of Pittsfield Building Department.
